Octavian, 44-27 BCE.
AR Denarius (3.79g; 20mm).
Italian Mint, Summer 37 BCE.

Obverse: IMP CAESAR-DIVI∑F∑III∑VIR∑ITER R∑P∑C; Octavianís bare head, bearded and facing right.

Reverse: COS∑ITER∑ET∑TER∑DESIG; Simpulum, aspergillum, jug and lituus.
