COLLECTION NO. 1106
NOTE: EMPEROR ON HORSE + SOLDIERS ON SHIELD
THIS COIN IS PART OF AN UNPUBLISHED AND VERY RARE GREEK LETTER EMMISSION WHICH WAS STRUCK SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH PINK'S LATIN LETTER 3rd EMMISSION.

This coin was struk from the same pair of dies as my coin no. 541

Only the 5th known specimen, including my coin no. 541 which is the fourth known (INFORMATION FROM P.GYSEN + MY OWN DATATBASE)

Adventvs Probi Avg is a rare reverse type for Serdica in itself but in combination with the sole "A" mintmark from an unpublished, exceedingly rare greek letter phase of the 3rd emmission and a decorated shield makes this coin a true gem!
