Vespasian RIC II 1427
Vespasian 69-79 A.D. AR Denarius. Ephesus Mint 71 A.D. (3.13g, 16.4mm, 6h). Obv: IMP CAESAR VESPAS AVG COS III TR P P P, laureate head right. Rev: AVG and EPHE in oak wreath. RIC II 1427, RPC II 8129, RSC 40. Ex CNG.

Although the reverse of this coin is off center, neither side of the coin shows much wear. With a tight flan, itís amazing the obverse legend is complete. While nice, it is also a very shiny coin with no signs of toning. This is my first coin from Ephesus with a "mintmark."
