Elymais -- Uncertain King, late 1st cent. BC to early 1st cent. AD
AE tdr., 16,2gr., 30,3mm;
Vanít Haaff 10.3.1-2A; Alram p. 146, #466, 1var., pl. 15, NB1var.;
obv.: bare-headed, left, w/2-strand diadem, knot, and 2 ribbons; hair protruding from under diadem, mustache, long tapering curly beard, long twisted bunch of hair or lock in back of neck; ear ring, multi-turn torque ending in pellet in right field; cuirass; 2-bar anchor w/pellet to the left, star and crescent above; dotted border 8 - 14:30;
rev: corrupted image and corrupted lettering;
