Vologases III., 105 - 147 AD
AEdr., 3,51gr, 14,23mm;
Sellw. 93.4 (Sanabares), Shore 479var., Koch Gr. 6, 31-36;
mint: Margiane, axis: 12h
obv.: bare-headed, left, w/2-strand diadem; medium-long hair in 5 crescent shaped stacked waves, crest hair comb-like, mustache w/turned-up ends, medium-long beard; 2-layer necklace;
rev: archer, left, w/S shaped feminine body propped on stool, mint mark for Margiane under what should be a bow; in left lower field the symbol 83 connected with Vologases III.,

unfortunately a heavily tooled coin, but still remarkable because of its unique style of the obv. portrait and the rev. archer; coin has a golden sheen;

ex: H. Hass, GER.
