obv.: bare-headed, left, w/2-strand diadem; long hair in 4 waves, crest hair comb-like, mustache, medium-long beard at an outward angle; mark on cheek; the style of the portrait is very sparse, almost primitive;
rev: archer, left, w/plump body floating above a seat symbolized by a dot, bow in extended hand, mint mark for Margiane below; in left lower field the large symbol 83 connected with Vologases III., a line consisting of 3 dots above it at an angle;

remarkable coin because of its unique style of the obv. portrait and the rev. archer,
