Beirut/Bervtus mint? Late Ptolemaic period, c. 2-1 cent. B.C. Bronze quarter-obol, VF, 1.922g, 12.5mm, 90o.Obv: double cornucopia. Rev: BASIL..., eagle standing left. The style of the flan and the eagle is similar to some late Berytus pieces. The flan is not Cyprus, Kyrene or Alexandria. Ref: Svoronos -; BMC -; SNG Cop -; Paphos II -. UNIQUE?
