Obverse: IMP MAXIMINVS AVG. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximinus II facing right, his right hand holding mappa and his left holding globe.
Reverse: SOLI INVICTO COMITI. Sol, radiate and naked to the waist, his right hand raised, his left holding globe and whip, standing, head facing left, in facing quadriga. In exergue, PTR.
Cf. RIC VI : 826 (r3) but this coin has an unbroken reverse legend which is not recorded.
