Parthia - Orodes II (57-38 BCE)
Metal/Size: AR19; Weight: 4.03 grams; Mint: Mithradatkart; Denomination: Drachm; Date: 57-38 BCE; Obverse: Diademed bust of Orodes left, wearing torque ending in pellet.  He exhibits short beard on weak chin.  Hair is medium length in five waves; circular border of pellets. Reverse: Beardless archer (Arsaces) wearing bashlyk and cloak seated right on throne, holding bow in right hand; Mithradatkart monogram below; seven-line Greek inscription = ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΝ ΑΡΣΑΚΟΥ ΕΥΕΡΓΕΤΟΥ ΔΙΚΑΙΟΥ ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ ΦΙΛΕΛΛΗΝΟΣ ("King of Kings Arsacid, Beneficent, Just, Illustriously born, Lover of Greece").
