A city located on the shores of the Propontis, Parion was founded circa 710 B.C. and became a flourishing port through the exellence of its harbour.
350-300 B.C. AR hemidrachm (c.2,45 gm) Obv.: HA/PI above and below bull standing left, looking back, bunch of grapes beneath bull. Rev.: Gorgoneion.
