Belt Hanger - Hunting Dog style.

Roman military belt plate with hanger loop.

The openwork plate was attached to the belt with two cast rivets.
The loop hung below the belt and supported a small object like a purse or knife.

23 x 29 mm.

Mid-2nd to mid-3rd century AD.
