Belt Hanger - "Eye" design.
Roman military belt hanger plate, with eye or kidney design.

The upper portion was attached to the belt with two rivets, now missing.
The semi-circular loop at the bottom was to suspend a small item from the belt,
such as a purse or knife.

Mid-2nd to mid-3rd century AD.
(Antonine to Severan eras.)
