Moesia inferior, Nikopolis ad Istrum, 10. Commodus, HrHJ (2018) 8.10.38.20 (plate coin)
Commodus, AD 177-192
AE 17, 2.97g, 17.15mm, 210°
obv. AVT L KAI - KOMODOC
        laureate head r.
rev. NEIKOPOL - PROC ICCTRO
Tyche in long garment and mantle, stg. frontal, head l., holding in l. arm cornucopiae and in r. hand rudder
ref. a) not in AMNG
       b) not in Varbanov (engl.)
       c) Hristova/Hoeft/Jekov (2018) No. 8.10.38.20 (plate coin)
very rare, F+, green patina

ICCT is a well known legend error. But the obv. legend AVT L KAI or AVT A KAI or AVT M KAI is unknown. His name was L. AVRELIVS COMMODVS, and changed in Oct. 180 to M. AVRELIVS COMMODVS. My suggestion: This coin was struck before Oct. 180.
