Porcius Laeca
ROMAN REPUBLIC SILVER DENARIUS OF PORCIUS LAECA FROM 125 B.C.
THE SIZE IS 18.2 MM AND 3.75 GRAMS.
OBV: Helmeted head of Roma right, X below chin, LAECA behind
REV: Liberty in quadriga right, holding pilius and rod, crowned by Victory who flies above, M.PORC below horses, ROMA in exergue.

This moneyer was a descendant of P Porcius Laeca, praetor in 195 BC who granted Roman citizens living outside the city the right of appeal in criminal matters
