Anonymous 12th Century Class I; tentatively attributed to Béla II (1131-1141) by Unger, Frynas and Adamovszky , but this attribution is not accepted by Huszár, Toth-Kiss and Gyöngyössy.

AR denar (average: .38 g., 12.0-13.0 mm.), .45 g., 12.95 mm. max.

Obv: Pellets within crescents within arms of central cross.

Rev: Wedges instead of an inscription, cross.

Struck in Esztergom.

Huszár rarity 6, Toth-Kiss rarity 25, Unger rarity 10, Frynas rarity C.
