Obv: D(retrograde) N FOCA NE PE AV. Standing figures of Phocas on left, holding cross on globe and Leontia, nimbate, on right, holding sceptre topped by cross; cross between their heads.
Rev:  Large Langobardian M, ANNO to left,cross above, numeral representing the regnal year to right (Year 1 on this coin). In exergue, THEuP', the mintmark for Theupolis (Antioch).
