Extremely rare and desirable variant of this otherwise popular reverse struck at Lugdunum, in which there is additionally a captive at Mars' foot. Only one reverse die of this variant with captive and no mintmarks exists - see also Bastien no. 311 (same reverse die but A2 bust) and no. 301 (aureus). This coin was evidently part of a donativa issue. A coin of the highest numismatic interest!
