In the 1980s, the Swiss pharmaceutical company, Sandoz (who actually used to make medallions) celebrated an anniversary by sending out replicas of coins to their customers. There were at least 6 different replicas made.
Sold on ebay in 2006 as a replica - the seller claimed that a coin dealer had told him it was worth 120 Euros. It was sold for 9.99 Euros.
