An ancient bronze counterfeit combining an obverse struck in silver at Viminacium for Valerian with a reverse type which is only noted for Postumus, Quintillus or Aurelian.

Billon antoninianus, apparently unpublished, ancient counterfeit, imitative of Viminacium, VF, unofficial mint, weight 3.14g, maximum diameter 22.4mm, die axis 0o, c. 270 - 275 A.D.; obverse IMP VALERIANVS P AVG, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; reverse SAECVLI FELICITAS (era of good fortune), emperor standing right holding transverse spear and globe; SOLD
