Constantius II, 22 May 337 - 3 November 361 A.D., Barbarous Imitative
An interesting barbaric imitation. Unlike most of these, the legends are not blundered, however the style is exotic and the mint mark was not used by the official mint.
RL20225. Bronze AE 2, VF+, barbaric mint, weight 3.934g, maximum diameter 24.3mm, die axis 315o, after 350 A.D.; obverse D N CONSTANTIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right; reverse FEL TEMP REPARATIO (happy times restored), soldier standing left spearing fallen horseman, Γ left, *SIS* in exergue; SOLD
