Carnuntum, Pannonia (Archaeological Park Carnuntum, Austria)
Carnuntum, an important legionary camp and city on the Danube limes, briefly struck coins when Regalianus assumed purple in Pannonia. Its remains are preserved in "Archaeological Park Carnuntum" in Lower Austria halfway between Vienna and Bratislava near today's villages Petronell-Carnuntum and Bad Deutsch-Altenburg. Date of operation: 260 A.D.
