Silver 1/16th shekel, Elayi-Elayi Tyre 223 - 238; Rouvier 1777; BMC Phoenicia p. 227, 3; SNG Cop 294; HGC 10 326; Betlyon -, VF, Phoenicia, Tyre (Lebanon) mint, weight 0.706g, maximum diameter 8.5mm, die axis 180o, c. 440 - 410 B.C.; obverse dolphin right above zigzag wave, murex shell below; reverse horned owl standing right, head facing, crook and flail under far wing (Egyptian symbols of royalty), all within an incuse form fitting the type; ex Numismatica Ars Classica auction 72 (May 2013), lot 939 ($248 plus fees); rare; SOLD
