|Istros|, |Istros,| |Thrace,| |c.| |475| |-| |350| |B.C.|, The cast wheel types are the first bronze coins of Istros. Evidence supports dating as early as 475 B.C. A recent discovery in the Temple of Aphrodite at Istros might push the date earlier. This type was a progression from earlier cast arrow money, some examples of which bear the same wheel design.
