This is a rare city for the earlier emperors so don't be discouraged. I have done a search of my library - fairly good coverage of Bithynia including Waddington's RG, which lists a single coin of Macrinus - not your example. You have a rare coin. Check and recheck the reverse inscription to make sure it is from that city - then rejoice!

A nice rev. type: apparently Hercules advancing with a rake, about to clean the stables of Augias, his twelfth and final labor.

Voegtli, Heldenepen, p. 44, knew such types on coins of Alexandria, Heraclea Pontica in Bithynia, and Perinthus in Thrace, but not on those of Prusias.

Yes, I think this is it! First coin in this thread looks to be from the same dies.
So, unpublished, but now clearly attributed and described.
Thanks a lot!  :)

I thought the coin looked familiar, and even checked my collection for anything similar. But I neglected to look in the trays for oversized coins, where my specimen was lying!
