Thanks Adrian. The reason I asked was I couldn't see the mark below the bust which I knew was there as I had the coin for sale back in June.  I was concerned the coin had been repaired prior to being slabbed and after it left my hands.  All is good.

Nice coin overall, I truly enjoy the reverse.

Handling an aureus is a special feeling, I wouldn't keep it in jail.

Congrats

The coin has now been released from its prison  :) :) :) :)

I was surprised as to how heavy it is

I do not like them slabbed either but it came that way and at least it confirms its legit,I always keep a pic of it slabbed and the info associated with it so I can always get it slabbed again.

I will have to take pics of it out of its cage and add them to my gallery, its fun holding such a coin and as mentioned I did not realize how heavy at 7 grams it is

Looking forward to see the new photos , congratulations again Adrian . you deserve all the best.

Also as you know the Density of gold is high  , I think about 19.30 g·cm−3 and Platin comes first.

Hi folks,

This reminds me of the song "The Prisoner" by Iron Maiden, one of my favorite bands of all time. They put on a great live show too. I saw them perform live during their "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" tour back in 1988. Yeah, I love heavy metal music.

The lyrics go something like this:

"...I'm not a prisoner, I'm a free man.
And my blood is my own now.
...I'm not a number, I'm a free man.
Live my life where I want to.
You'd better scratch me from your black book..."

I can just imagine Vespasian singing that song now that he's free. :)
