I think looks like :
 Italian States-Venice, Alvise Contarini as Doge (1676-1684), Soldo of 12 Bagattini, Venice Mint
 S • M • V • ALOIS • CON •
Doge kneeling left, long cross with pendant flag in right hand, nimbate winged lion of St. Mark standing right, * 12 * in exergue
 * DEFENS •-•NOSTER *
 Christ, nimbate, standing facing within beaded inner circle, book of Gospels in left hand, right hand raised in benediction
