Early Domitian Denarius
« on: October 08, 2014, 09:03:29 pm »
I received this little beauty in the mail today: https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-113222

It's part of the last issue of denarii Domitian struck just prior to the reorganisation of the Rome mint in 82. I really do love the veristic style of his early coins.

LOL!  Sorry Alberto. I can't take credit for the bidding, my snipe program did it all for me. And yes, I was asleep at the time.

David, I think you always have one coin in the mail.  You just daisy chain them together. :)

Very nice your coin. Congratulations! Me too have a Domitian coin who I love very much. It is not early but it's nice anyway. Please do not mind by me because I post my coin in this topic.
