Unknown Ar 16mm .3g Bulgarian?
« on: September 29, 2014, 07:43:33 pm »
I acquired a unknown Ar coin with a lot of Byzantine coins.  It which measures approximately 16 mm and weighs .3 g.  The flip says "Bulgaria 1365-1395."  Any ideas would be helpful in identifying this coin.  Pogh_poor

I am assuming it is one of these coins:

Bulgaria: Ivan Sracimir (1352/5–1396) AR Groš (Raduchev & Zhekov Type 1.14.1; Youroukova & Penchev-107)

Obv: Half-length facing bust of Christ standing facing before seat, raising hands in benediction, IC XC across field
Rev: Ivan Sracimir enthroned facing, holding lis-tipped scepter and mace; axe under throne
