As I said, Varbanov reproduces the picture.

Should also be in the databases, try ACSearch if you like.

Sorry, "Verus Serdica" doesn't bring up the coin in question on CoinArchives Pro.

Varbanov 1911 is to Gordian III with same reverse:

Your coin is Varbanov 1911 in vol. 3, not vol. 1!

Marcianopolis is in vol. 1, Serdica in vol. 3.

Sorry, I cannot, but maybe some other reader has the book, access to a scanner, and the willingness to help.

Not that a scan is really necessary. It will just describe and illustrate the very same Künker coin to which Shanxi linked above.

I do not have a smartphone.

I guess that leaves more money for coins and books!

I think the very least you could do, after being of so little help, is going out, buying one and taking a picture.

Oh the famous German humor Andreas...

I guess we are not going to get a Curtis selfie anytime soon...

Varbanov can be had for a couple hundred dollars and is in Bulgarian I think.  For someone who won't take Curtis' words for it, I would think that is a small price to pay ;)

Varbanov's first edition was in Bulgarian, but his second edition, which of course everyone cites today, is in English.

Whoooaaa, Senatus, you are MUCH too demanding.  When someone offers you a bit of information, it does not mean you can hound them for more and more.  Don't be this way again.
