CILICIA, Aegeae. Severus Alexander. 222-235 AD. Æ 32mm (21.62 gm). Dated year 277 (230/1 AD). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Tyche standing right, holding cornucopiae, followed by three citizens, greeting galley sailing left; small goat above. SNG Levante 1767 (this coin); SNG France 2364 (same dies); SNG von Aulock -. Fine, black patina with a trace of light earthen encrustation, minor roughness. Rare.
