Help identifying Byzantine coin.
« on: September 10, 2014, 01:34:42 pm »
I recently purchased an unattributed coin identified only as Byzantine.  Have been unable to find it.  The best I can come up with is an Alexios I coin overstruck on an older (?Romanus III) coin.  Please help.

Your sure, that's Alexius I follis S.1911 over S.1823 (Class B anonymous follis)
