identification and authentication Help
« on: April 19, 2014, 04:14:21 am »
Hello.
I bought this coin few days ago

I think i have already identify it, but the weight is wrong:

EGYPT. Alexandria. Hadrian (117-138). BI Tetradrachm.
Obv: AYT KAI TPAI AΔPIA CEB.
Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right.
Rev: LI - H.
Hades enthroned left, holding scepter; Kerberos seated at his feet.
Diameter: 23 mm.
weight : 7.24 g.

is it the right weight (7.24g)  for tetradrach? it should be 13g.
or is it didrachm?

Please help me.

regards,

Yossi

Exactly like this.
My coin weight 7.24g instead of 13g.
Is it fake or authentic?
Thanks,
Yossi.
