Isaac II imitation
« on: December 03, 2013, 07:22:37 am »
I think this is an imitation of an Isaac II trachy because of the style and the irregular flan but I noticed it's quite thick and it looks like there is a not irrivelant level of silver. What do you think about it? Thanks in advance.

Weight: 3,03 g.
Diameter: 2,3 max

Perhaps from the later reign of Isaac II (clicky)? Those flans seem thick, and have the parallelogram shape on the waist. Obverse seems to match too.
