Hi Frank

The reverse says in the center:
الامير
الامام محمد
امير المؤمنين
المهدي بألله
يحيى

The obverse:
لا إله إلا
ألله وحده
لا شريك له
محمد

And in the margin:

بسم ألله ضرب هذا الدينار بمدينة مالقة سنة اربعين و اربع ماية

Muhammad al-Mahdi, Malaga 440H.

All this in a strange and barbarian style.

A similar copy, but with another calligraphy, in:

Sorry.

Too much time without visiting this page.

Two coins are of ‘ Abd to the-Rahman III al-Nasir, mint of to al-Andalus.

The first one is a dinar, probably of the year 317 although the photo does not allow me to be sure. Vives 349. There is the similar one on this page:
 http: // www.andalustonegawa.50g.com/abdalrahmanIII.htm

The second one is a dírham, it seems than of the year 325. Also there is the similar one on the page quoted above. Vives 386.
