Arabic engraved sard
« on: February 25, 2013, 09:29:45 am »
Hi Bakkar and friends,
Attached is an Arabic engraved sard. The surface has a lot of fine scratches - as if it was worn or used for a while. It measures 25.5 mm x 20 mm.
     Can it be translated?
Thanks.
Russ

It includes "Ayat al-Kursi"  ( The throne verse) from the Koran.
With rude Naskh inscription it looks like many similar examples from early 20th century.
