Byzantine AE #3
« on: December 26, 2012, 09:47:51 am »
Can someone help me to ID this late Byzantine AE? I think it could be from around the time of Andronicus III, but I'm not sure.

Obverse - Virgin Mary Orans (or a Saint) with arms raised in benediction
Reverse- Bust of Emperor holding a double-barred cross
