Hannibalianus
« on: December 21, 2012, 05:53:08 am »
Hy all,

This little one I found in a lot of late roman coins, mostely constantinus I and Constantius II.
Think it's a hannibalianus. Could someone give me more info about the reverse (meaning).

Thanks

The obverse picture is out of focus but with this reverse, what else could it be? Nice find!

The reverse should be the "river-goddess", Euphrates reclining right, holding sceptre, urn at side, reed in background. Inscription, SECVRITAS PVBLICA.
