This is an AE25 of Aemilian, from Viminacium, as is evident by the reverse. I don't have any reference that I can cite to fully attribute this coin however. I would appreciate any help in this regard.

Year VIII for Aemilian means Dacia rather than Viminacium.

Definitely Dacia.

Obverse as described above - laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right

Reverse - PROVIN-CIA DACIA/ AN VIII - Dacia standing head left between eagle and lion, holding Victory and short scepter

Dacia seems to be the mint. I checked the links provided and I believe I have enough info to attribute this coin. The reverse inscription did not look like the usual for Viminacium, so the Dacia explanation solves my problem. Finally got that Aemilian I have been looking for. Thanks to all. This is truly a trove of ancient numismatic information.- Ryan C.

Thanks, I am going to check it out. I think a full attribution is possible.
