Andronicus II? Not sure.
« on: November 28, 2012, 02:08:29 pm »
I could use some help with this coin.  It came labled as Andronicus II, but I cannot find it in Sear Byz or DOC.  I've looked at similar types from other emperors of that time frame but cannot find it.  Any help would be appreciated.  The coin weighs 1.38 g, and measures 22.7 mm at its widest. the photo has been lightened to show details.

Thanks,
Tom
