The legal way is to buy the books.

It was my understanding you could get an old version of the catalog as they where no longer copyrighted though it seems wherever I go to find a copy its always out of print or not
available.

Legal is always a good thing

To my understanding they are still under copyright.

No they are not and yes the books are still under copywrite protection. If you want to get a copy of RIC, you'll have to buy it, unless you want to track down one of the illegal CD copies.

Complete sets of RIC are difficult to find right now.  A few of the volumes are out of print and out of stock at Spink and other sellers.

Believe it or not, Amazon UK have some volumes. Don't know about the US.

Some of the volumes are easy to find.  Complete sets are not.

On the request I asked about Roman Provincial I got the 2 volumes I needed through www.hathitrust.org I paid 50 each to get them printed and sent to me I got them yesterday
though not as nice as the real books they do the job.It would be great if they could do the same thing for the RIC volumes as well maybe one day they will.

As to RIC I do not see the point in having a partial collection unless you are after focusing on just one period in Roman history but even some of them appear to be multiple volumes.

Just what I think which really accounts for nothing.
