Really lovely- fantastic detail and so sharp! Maybe a common type but not common in this shape.  Great addition.

Thanks for the kind comments. The thread had largely gone unnoticed, but I guess when Robin speaks, people notice  laugh

The coin is in the mail, but upon arrival, I will see if I can improve upon the photo to better capture the true color of the coin. It is described as glossy brown, but the photo is quite silverish.

As far as the ear,  it seems similar to the RIC 188 one in Wildwinds although the photo there is smallish and hard to see.
