nice specimen , shame about the irregular flan that left out some of the legend
this coin was hoarded shortly after its release in circulation

Excellent coin L.e. , with Philip looking very much in command on the reverse, seated as he is holding his orb and parazonium. Despite his fearsome portrait on your coin, and the fact Philip was probably responsible for the death of his predecessor, but I’ve always found him a sympathetic character who after he gained power tried his best to be humane in very difficult circumstances.

Best Regards,
Steve
