Hi all,

Maybe this website is already known to you, but i stumbled upon it by chance and thought it nice to share for those interested.
On www.duiten.nl click on the tab "links" and then on the link with the title "Digital Library Numis".
Under this link you can acces hundreds of numismatic books (scanned) dating from the 16th century up to the 20th century.
I find it a highly usefull website, so hope you enjoy it as well!

Thijs moved the DLN a couple of years ago and has greatly extended the list which you are seeing. The list now comprises of several THOUSAND books and articles.
The new address is:
http://sites.google.com/site/digitallibrarynumis/

It has been linked on wildwinds for 3 years and is a very popular website for those looking for old numismatic books.
Also have a look on archive.org - there are hundreds of old numismatic books on there as well as new works - I put my numismatic translations on archive.org, for example.

There are dealers on ebay that collect a lot of the out of copyright numismatic books and sell them collected on DVDs. If you don't have high speed, and of course the time to locate them all, and download them separately, it's actually a good deal. I bought one myself.

Thijs adds an updates pdf at the end of every month, so if you check his Updates page and scroll to the bottom of the list, you can see his latest updates (newly added items) there.
It's something I look forward to every month. Unfortunately he doesn't have time to use a mailing list for his updates - I'd be the first to sign up !
