Thanks. What about this one. With the previous one it came in a small lot I was offered really cheap by a huaquero when buying some antiquities.

I know that. Its Santiago mint. I had another ( from Carlos IV ) bought in 1974 in El Salvador. But I don't have any catalogues on Spanish colonial coins.Never cared much about them as they can be very boring.
Anyone has Cayon ?

Not Santiago, but Santa Fe de Bogota Nueva Granada (Colombia)

I suppose you are right. I always thought that the S was Santiago.

Right again. I mistook the 8 in reales for an S. Should have taken a better look at the reverse. Will study in depth my Spanish colonials. As written my interests are Roman and Precolumbian. I think they are worth nothing. In the Madrid weekly market you find them by the thousands. Not to say in dealers.
