Hi Helen!

This is the standard depiction of Asklepios. He is always looking l. Sometimes his hairdress is in a shape making him looking right.

I don't think he is stepping right. He is standing frontal but his feet have different positions. His l. foot is the standbein and his r. foot the spielbein. That makes him looking turned a bit right.

I don't know of a right looking Asklepios. At least there are none of them in Nikopolis. Therefore I think Asklepios on your coin is looking left too. Only the wear makes him looking right.
