This is a discus fragment from a lamp made in the Central Mediterranean region (probably Italy or North Africa) during the second half of the 1st century AD. The erotic motif is identical to that found on other recorded lamps of its type.

Although lamps bearing an erotic motif have been widely faked, your example is almost certainly genuine.
