Mysia, Kyzikos EL Hekte. Circa 500-450 BC. Head of Athena left, wearing crested helmet, tunny fish left beneath / Quadripartite incuse square. Von Fritze, Nomisma VII, 67; SNG France -. 2.66g, 11mm.Extremely Rare. Near Extremely Fine.

The tunny fish is a civic emblem of Kyzikos. While all other elements of the design on their coinage changed, the tunny (tuna) fish was a constant.

It is great coin, it wasent cheap for sure, but worth every $$$$.
