You might want to post it in the Fakes section (include weight) and see what happens. I've seen several fakes very similar to this (although not this one) and it does appear "contrived" - like the type they sell to tourists. Plus, it never hurts to get some expert opinions any time there are questions about these coins.

I think it looks grotty enough to be genuine! 1278 H=1861-62 AD of course.

I second the genuine impression.
The dirty, old patinated issues of these types are too simple, cheap and abundant to be a forgerĀ“s creation.

there s a massive difference between contemporary forgery and tourist fakes

this one could be a contemporary forgery which can be quite common

This is a genuine coin and not a contemporary forgery.  This is just how they look since they were casted and not struck.

Have found that the mint names are sometimes poorly written.
