It was chosen because the page itself on Facebook is listed as 'The
PtolemAE Project' so it seemed best not to duplicate that too closely. And of course the ordinary URL for this page is
www.ptolemybronze.comso it should be OK. Anyway, once it's been set it can't be changed...
I tried to add a favicon to the site but it won't be possible due to the way it is hosted.
The Facebook 'fan base' is up to 56 and increasing steadily so join the fun - click the 'Like' button there when you visit.
A new set of coin pictures was just added to the '
Denomination Series - Coin Photos' page that shows some of the 3rd C. BC Ptolemaic bronzes that have
portraits of some of the Queens - womens'
portraits (and some with the Queen's name). These are all pretty unusual and
scarce coins from non-Alexandrian mints and adding them to the page should make it easier for collectors to identify them and
catalog them.
