I think this is RIC 185 Thessalonica is this the scarce or common one. It shows .S. on Helvictias site but mine is just S any help wellcomed. 20mm 4.4grams.

Hi Dave

On Wildwinds, dot-S is listed as RIC VIII,185 (var) of dot-S-dot. So it would seem to me that plain S would also be in that series as a variant. Why not submit the coin photo to Dane Kurth on Wildwinds? If she agrees perhaps she will add it to the database.

Isn't it a variant of RIC-187 not 185?  Horseman clutching neck not reaching back??
